My parents, Ty and Nora Olia, were farmers and through them I learned the value of honesty and hard work. I attended a country school for my first eight years and had the same teacher(Olga Norstad)the entire time! I graduated from Cambridge High School in 1965. I received an associate degree from Madison Area Technical College after my children were grown.

I married Harland Hoesly from Evansville in 1969, and we have been married for over 38 years. The Swiss/Norwegian combination must be working. Together we have worked to raise four children and we are proud to say they have all graduated from a UW-Wisconsin college. Harland has worked at Uniroyal in Stoughton for over 44 years--talk about stability!

Our oldest son, Dave, lives in Minneapolis, MN, and works for United Health Care. He received his degree from the University of Whitewater and his Business Masters from Kellogg at Northwestern. Dave also has his Associate Actuarial designation.

Dan, our youngest son, has been in real estate with me since we started our company in 1996. He and I enjoy working together as a part of Keller Williams Hoesly Real Estate Team. Dan graduated from the University of Platteville with a degree in Agri-Business. Dan married Trisha Kent from Edgerton on June 25, 2005. Trisha is a special education pre-school teacher at Washington Elementary in Janesville. Dan and Trisha have a very special Black Lab by the name of Dixie.

Amy is our oldest daughter. She graduated from UW-Stout in Menomonee. Amy married her husband, Mohammad Barketallah, in November 2000,andhisfamily lives in Tunisia, Africa. Mohamad became a US citizen after marrying Amy. Together they own and manage Frida Mexican Grill on State Street in Madison. In 2005, our son, Dave, and our daughter, Amy, purchased the franchise rights in Madison to Cartridge World. They opened in June 2005 at a location near East Towne, and they have been kept busy recycling cartridges for printers ever since. Our first grandchild, Alexander "Zander" Barketallah was born in June 2004, and our second grandson, Romzy was born December 8, 2006, and both are a delight to our whole family.

Angie, our youngest, is in Management at Meriter Hospital in Madison in the special care nursery. She graduated from UW-Madison as an RN. She is now gettings her Masters at the UW-Madison. She married Marcus Baker on August 26, 2005. Marcus works for the railroad out of Janesville. They have a beautiful Golden Retriever named Charlie.

Harland and I also hosted two AFS students while our children were in high school--Pablo from Chile and Kylie from New Zealand. We also hosted a foster child her senior year in high school. So actually we were parents to seven graduates of Cambridge High School. Our daughter Amy was also an AFS student and studied in Scotland while in college. Travel is something Harland and I love to do. We have been truly blessed and have been able travel to Chile, and several European countries--even Norway! In Norway we stayed with relatives on my mother's side of the family whom I had never met before.

After working at CUNA Mutual in Madison for 16 year, I began a career in real estate in 1995. On October 1st, 1996, my husband and I started Hoesly Real Estate Company. Our company was founded on the Golden Rule--"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Our services are built on hard work, honesty and integrity. Education will always beextremely important to me. I am one of only 5% of allRealtors nation-wide that have achieved the designations I havestudied for in thereal estate profession. My designations include the following. Realtor, Broker, Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), Certified Broker Specialist (CBS), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI), Senior Residential Specialist (SRRS), Resort and Recreational Specialist (RRS) and e-PRO. That is why Keller Williams was such a great match for our team. I have constantly worked to keep learning and growing professionally to provide my customers the best possible information I can. My goal is to give all parties involved in the real estate transaction a happy, worry-free experience that will bring them many years of satisfaction and will want to make them our customers for life.

As the owner of Hoesly Real Estate Company, I emphasized education and ethics, and I was happy to join Keller Williams Realty in January 2005 because they have the same values and beliefs.
